  My coworker has been playing New Vegas lately. <br><br>He liked the show and Fo4, but didn&apos;t know any lore so he&apos;d always ask me. I&apos;d, at times, get frustrated and explain some of the retcons and how the TikTok theory he saw was made by someone who has clearly never played the game.<br><br>My constant frustration eventually led him to buying New Vegas himself, because he was curious if the Fallout show really changed and deflated that much of the source material.<br><br>The tutorial alone made him realize this was a very different game when a woman got mauled to death by geckos because he was too slow. Later, hearing an NPC describe &quot;He&apos;s a rapist that likes to cook people alive,&quot; REALLY made him go, &quot;Oh fuck this is a legit apocalypse.&quot;

  Making house a cartoon rich guy villain completely butchers the whole thing that made his character great.<br>He didn&apos;t get what he wanted because he was rich and angry, he got what he wanted because he was smart, charismatic, and planned generations into the future with backup plans for everything.<br>The man started with &quot;what happens when the nukes fall?&quot; and made it all the way to &quot;and that&apos;s how I&apos;ll turn vegas into a thriving post war society existing in harmony with the rest of the rebuilding world&quot;.<br>What actually made him evil is the fact that he tricked people into thinking he was rebuilding everything for anyone other than himself.
