  Shinies I&apos;ve found since first playing pokemon:<br>1. Platinum: Shiny Bibarel, game crashed mid-battle.<br>2. X: Shiny Tentacool, game file corrupted the next day.<br>3. Ruby: Shiny Zigzagoon, game crashed mid-battle.<br>4. Silver: Shiny Gyrados, doesn&apos;t count.<br>5. Ruby again: Shiny Magneton, the only one I have to this day.

  Interesting you chose this game. Fire Red was the game where I found my first shiny. I literally just started my playthrough and hopped onto Route 1 where I found this gold-colored bird...and then I saw the sparkles. I had no idea what a shiny pokemon was at the time, but it looked different and it sparkled so I kept the shiny Pidgey...that bugger stuck in my team until the elite 4 where it was part of my champion team, even popping Gary&apos;s Venasaur.
