Day 46 15 FEB 2026. Thank you so much, Father Mike for this awesome lesson. I love that ordinary work becomes extraordinary, secular work becomes sacred when we are filled with the spirit of God, baptised and called to be holy. We are the living stones of God's holy church, being a family, we are the 'little church', the 'domestic church' as the priest who confirmed me called it. He talked of the priesthood and married people being flip sides of the same coin. When I became Catholic, every bit of work I did - no matter how seemingly menial - became an act of love for God, for the Risen Christ. Every blessing to Father Mike and those who listen to Bible in a Year, your Catholic convert friend in New Zealand 🙏

Thank you, Father Mike, for reminding all of us that our work is extraordinary because we have been consecrated and set apart. I pray today especially for all of my fellow educators for their dedication and passion in the classroom.

Hi Father Mike. I'm so excited about your podcast for the CIY and BIY!!!! I am new to the Catholic Church. I was raised a Southern Baptist but after moving alone, I met a young woman who introduced me to the Catholic Faith. It is so fulfilling to have these podcasts and the rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and my Catholic Bible!! I am so blessed to be able to walk with God through your podcasts!! Thank you so much! God bless!!!

Father Mike, I am still here, I haven't kept my studies up perfectly, but today I continue on searching for Jesus in His Holy Word. You help my understanding so much. Your voice in my ear as I read along with you in this wonderful Great Adventure Bible gives me such comfort and happiness. Thank you, Father Mike. Thank you. (Cindy)

Day 46 2026. My first time doing BIY. Cradle Catholic but learning so much about my faith through this journey. My husband is Lutheran and has made the decision to convert in no small part due to this series. We are pregnant with our second son. Thank you Lord and thank you Fr Mike for your humble service!

I wish all people knew whatever work, whether outside of the home or taking care of the house, cooking, cleaning, etc. can be holy. So many people have been taught to " be all you can be" showing off your skills but not the silent, unassuming greatness of being kind to others and taking care of family and home.
