Cats licking drunken, passed-out police officers awake is a tale as old as time. The cats were considered ……claw enforcement…

I’ll see myself out…

When I was about 7 years old, me and my family went on a trip to Washington D.C. because that year the Capitol Christmas tree was chosen from the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in WA state, where my dad worked as a Forest Service Ranger. He was tasked with making the cross country roadtrip with the Christmas tree as a guard. Anyways, because of that, my dad and my family got special access and a private tour of the White House, the Capitol building, the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, and more. Our tour guides told us all sorts of weird folklore and ghost stories during these tours. The one that stood out to me the most though, is when we were taken on a tour of the underground of the Capitol building, and our tour guide told us about the demon cat. He told us those exact same stories that you told in this video, and it resurfaced all those memories of being absolutely terrified as a 7 year old walking around these underground passages, always expecting to see a menacing black cat around every corner.
I really enjoyed this video, as it brought back many special memories of my time there, even though I can't remember all of it since I was only 7. Thank you for this video, this one was extra special for me!

The Demon Cat has no relationship to the clearly documented Demon Cat of the Hellfire Club. And none
of the other sites of their rituals have any other spectral size changing cats, eg .Montpelier Hill ,Killakee Ireland. And none of our founding fathers were friends of its founder Francis Dashwood, so much so that a chamber in the original Hellfire Caves is named after them.

Growing up in Northern Virginia, I've been to D.C. many times. I happened to go to Confession there, and the priest I saw was the one that assisted Father Hughes with Roland Doe's exorcism.
