  I am a rehabilitated heroin addict, I known all about it as I was addicted  for 40yrs. These street folks have made this there lifestyle and getting them off the streets is tough they need to be incarcerated for long periods and laws would need to be amended. Most of them are Meth addicts and a danger to society  as the drug drives one crazy after  prolonged use.

  Could you imagine earning just 1100 on Social Security?  I have a friend that earns that.  She has low income apartments for elderly. If she didn’t have that she couldn’t make it. I am blessed I retired even though I’m disabled and I have been since the polio vaccination, my late husband was retired from the same shipyard and he made sure I wouldn’t have to worry month-to-month. I’m not rich by a long shot, but I have to be smart. Thank God, thank the Lord and my wonderful husband

  This is where the mayor of SF has it right, IMO. They want to make it so uncomfortable for the unhoused people that they have no choice but to accept the shelter beds and get treatment for their addictions. Hopefully it helps them get a step towards permanent housing.

  The residents and business owners HATE THIS SITUATION; they are victims of the filth and crime and they live in FEAR of what any of these people might do for their next fix.

  My opinion when the 8 highway went in it ruined El Cajon. I lived there as a child in the 50’s. Quiet sweet town with stalkers.😂😂.  Thank you to the police trying to help the homeless. 🙏🙏👍🇺🇸

  Panhandlers making more money than me and I’m a union worker! Crazy that I used to be there right with them. Shoutout to Alonzo. I hope he’s ok out there

  Helping them is not throwing all there stuff away Iike cloths and bedding and blankets.I would amagine it took a long time to collect all of that.and even longer to get a tent. ITS JUST WAY TO SAD 😢

  There needs to be a massive tent city in Imperial Valley. Put all these people there, far away from society, drugs, and booze.<br>Give them shelter, medical care, mental health care, food, showers, beds, etc. Let them work on the farms to get back on their feet.
