First, I love your channel. Now moving to Kaleidescape. It's interesting how often Kaleidescape is promoted on YouTube. This is a very expensive ecosystem built around proprietary hardware, with storage prices that are difficult to comprehend. A 31TB drive costs around $23,000, while a 24TB drive runs about $11,000. Then, after purchasing the player, you buy or rent movies through their service. To me, the price of the drives alone makes the whole proposition feel like a joke.

I think the biggest advantage is how fast movies show up on kaleidoscope
Like Hail Mary is already on it and blu ray order is still saying release date not known
Strato k I don’t know how visible this would be on every movie

M model plays back at video same as BRD and has full uncompressed audio. That would be sufficient for me but wished they offered more internal storage.

I'd be interested to see the difference between the high bitrate video vs 4K blu ray. That could tip the scale for value proposition for some. Overall, I love the 4K blu rays more, I like to hold the disc, look at the cover, they're like decoration to me, I change the discs I display weekly to keep my living room fresh!

I just ordered a Strato E yesterday, I’m starting to feel some kinda way now, i’d probably send it back, but I caught such a good deal on it. I’m gonna have to keep it.

What distance are you sitting from screen and what is screen size? Do you see any noticeable pixelation with 2k vs 4k? I really enjoy your down to earth videos.

Hi. Any chance? With the Strato K from Kaleidescape with the higher bitrate would you really notice a substaial difrence with the movies 4K cinamatic with the 4:4:4 compared to the standard 4K Kaleidescape?

Most movies I collect are older remastered movies from boutique labels, I’m not sure I would even purchase enough movies from kaleidescape for it to be worth it

I have a Zidoo Z9X8X and 98 TB hard drive space. anybody care to do the math if this space was Kaleidescape territory? By the way, I have another 98 TB back up for a total of 196 Tb drive space. Based on their pricing, I have $188,000 worth of Kaleidescape storing capacity.
