Several of these engines were also in school buses, city buses and motorcoaches...
Both the 6-71 and the N14 (in their midship configurations) was also used in some Crown and Gillig school buses.
The 8V-92TA was also used in some MCI A3/C3 and Prevost H3-40 series motorcoaches.
The 903 was also used in some Flxible New Look buses and also in some Grumman Flxible 870 and Flyer D900 city buses.

Next to the monolithic KT series, Cummins also had the Super 250, which was similar to the 855 CID line but with a half-inch longer stroke which increased its displacement from 855 to 927 cubic inches!

E9 V8 is my all-time favorite sound. N14 is a close second and has the best jake sound.

The Cummins N14 select was the best engine ever built by Cummings. That thing ripped hell in half! It laughed uphills laughed at mountains, and there was nothing that could stop it.
