  Thank you for this video. I’ll need to work on my skills if I’m to tackle this stretch on the Vstrom. Your point about the day after day riding and schedule taking the joy out of it is one I felt keenly. Always places to go and so much I want to see only to arrive too tired to do much more than eat dinner and watch Netflix. Rest days are important! Now I try to have one every 4-5 days depending on when I’m somewhere nice. Last tour I cut short by about 1/3 because I just couldn’t do the miles I had drawn out on a map in winter.
