My grandparents lived their entire lives in Indiana. They both died in 1970 in the house that they had built in 1915. There was a old sideboard in the attic that had turned black. My cousins were starting to throw it out the window into the trash below when my mom stopped them. My parents found a place here in Indianapolis that professionally cleaned and restored old furniture. When the sideboard was cleaned it was beautiful oak piece. It's been used since that time. It's now 2026 and it's still here in my family room/dining room filled with much of the same things that were in your video. It's without a doubt one of the most useful pieces of furniture my parents and now me have ever owned. I don't know why sideboards went out of style because just about everyone could use one.

First of all definition of sideboard is long low piece of furniture with cupboard , drawers traditionally placed against wall to store , served food . Synonyms Closet , dresser , locker , console , hutch , Chesl , bookcase, buffet , cabinet . First appearance in 18 th century, gained popularity during 19 th century. Credenza is dinning room sideboard or , display cabinet . It can be placed on living room or dinning room . In 1920s sideboard having two drawers, over two cupboard , with central carver panel supported by barley twist stretched leg .
