"I wish she had been loved a little more" is so sweet 🥺 it's true though, i think the same. I wonder what the world would be like if we still had her.

"A devil's gift" is the best way to explain the talent from such pain.

The video of her winning a Grammy still gives me chills. All of a sudden her face is like a Disney princess. A truly romantic soul. RIP Amy.

Blake was her downfall, mentally and with drink and drugs. He was an addict and made her one, she couldn't let go of him and her health deteriorated so much.
Too sensitive and not enough boundaries to protect herself.
But it is often this kind of person that can express emotions in art so well. R.I.P

"a gift so powerful, they took her at 27." truly so emotional.

The duet she did with Tony Bennett... dropped my jaw over that. To think that she was not peaking yet, she was still growing as an artist and was that good.

I just love how she didnt care about selling music as in making music videos and looking perfect. She was always herself and what mattered to her was the music in itself no need for fancy dresses and suff. Her authenticy shines

So many drug references. Particularly inn Back to Black. Talking about their various drugs of choice." Blow and puff". Cocaine and pot. Plus reference to the "pipe". Oh, and the penny rollin' up the walls could be a reference to penny bags of blow. They're smaller than dime bags.
Oh, and going 'back to black" both meaning falling back into a toxic relationship and slipping back into her addiction.
To be clear, I do not use drugs, but they're much more common here in The States so you wind up knowing these things.
She was a true artist. Insane vocals. Just had the Devil in her:(

I think the last one was her attempt on convincing herself that life must go on but darkness was more convincing 😢
