I like that the bosses were "guardians" of Viewros, the last living remnants of a dead civilization, before Sylux came with his Metroids and corrupted them. Gives more weight to Sylux as the main antagonist, his mere presence is destroying what's left of the planet.

I honestly like Sylux's boss theme, especially that guitar. I felt like his final fight could have been better, though I do like his background, design, and his voice.

I just defeated Xelios, the soundtrack got me ascending. After scanning it, poor thing was made to keep Volt Forge operating in the Machine Era until got fused with a Metroid.

They could’ve added more unique/optional bosses and enemies for the Desert area. Federation Robots reprogrammed by the Space Pirates, Criminals hired by Sylux to set up road blocks to impede Samus’s progress on the motorcycle, and or enemies from other Nintendo games as cameo mini-boss fights..
