  Even the Snow White actresses at the Disney theme parks do an insanely better job at portraying the character.

  The problem is is mostly, Rachel played Snow White as herself. And Snow White isn't a loud girl boss. She's a gentle quiet kind young princess.  I guess she probably would have known that if she paid more attention to the original and wasn't so dismissive and egotistical about it.

  I think that we forgot that a princess can be powerful and self-suficient and still can have a good love story. (ex: Rapunzel).

  I just don’t understand why showing the strength of a quieter, softer woman is so offensive?? Not all women are loud and being loud doesn’t make you a leader or strong. Snow White has a kind heart and shows empathy. What’s so bad about that??

  this is why snow white and the huntsman will remain my favorite snow white live action. They kept her kindness and will to help others, yet made her the brave soldier who ends up DEFEATING the evil queen all on her own. So underrated.
