I felt this "God did not give you the strength to recover just so that you could go back to the very thing that broke you. God did not give you the strength for you to go back to the very thing that left your mental health on life support...he never cracks the red sea so you could return. He always cracks it so you could depart".

I believe this is why we need to know what our proclivities and weaknesses are. If we don’t, we can fall prey to things sent by the enemy. Our desires and what we are hungry for, if not satisfied by God’s word, can be targeted by the enemy to bring what looks good, but destroys us if taken.
