The Black Phone was quite unexpected! Much more supernatural than we anticipated! Really enjoyed it! Curious how a second one will go but this first one was a fun watch!
Let us know what you think!
✧Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/FlixnFeels
✧YouTube Memberships: https://www.youtube.com/@Flix-n-Feels/join
✧Discord: https://discord.gg/7t5nEFAg9V
✧Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/flixnfeels

Actually, the brother was HUGELY important. We don't know exactly what the Grabber does to his victims but we can surmise that it involves the SA and torture of children and the Grabber has a routine that he more or less sticks to. We know from the Grabber's comments that this is the Grabber's childhood home. Soon after Finney is abducted, he wakes up in the Grabber's basement. During their first conversation, the Grabber hears the phone ringing upstairs. That phone call was the Grabber's brother, Max, calling to tell his brother that he was in financial dire straits. He had just lost his job and needed to move back home until he gets on his feet. The brother's presence in the home meant that the Grabber had to stay upstairs except when his brother was out or asleep. The Grabber even comments, "It's just that... Oh, everything's all f#@ked up. I got to be upstairs for a while. Something's come up." The presence of the brother disrupted the Grabber's normal schedule of playing sadistic games and SA. The Grabber's absence gave the past victims time to call and advise Finny on how possible ways to try to escape. Without the brother, Finney has ZERO chance of escaping.

This was written by Stephen King's son. It's why the siblings have the powers like the shining in King's books.
Also this is based off serial killers during that time period especially Gacy who took boys with long hair.
Love the reaction.

I even cried at the end. My favorite movie, especially Robin talking to Finn on the phone for the last time at the end.😭❤

Both kids received powers from their mom. Fin talks to the dead and Gwen dreams. I love all the homage to Stephen King. Love the story from Joe Hill Kings son) This is the same people who created Sinister which is also an amazing movie. Scott Derickson directed both, Ethan Hawk and James Ransone started in both. If you haven’t watched Sinister I recommend it.
