  Hello Rev. Blake. Before I pass along an interesting nugget of information you may already know, I want to say that I tremendously enjoy your preaching and learn from all your sermons. I appreciate your dedication to God and the ministry he has given you. What I was going to share with you is that when someone fasts, the human body starts to convert fat into keytone bodies that can be used as fuel instead of glucose. These keytone bodies induce the expression of various genes including those that produce various brain hormones. So when you fast, your brain chemistry changes in various ways. Of interest to me, is that genes are activated that produce substances that reduce anxiety. Thus, God made the human body in such a marvelous manner that when we stop eating to fast chemicals start being produced that will put us in a more calm and less anxiety striken mental state so we can better pray and focus on him! <br><br>I think this is why amazing breakthroughs can happen when a person fasts. Because it may be that it took fasting, focusing on God, stopping other activities, and obtaining a clearer and calmer mind to summon up the faith to activate the miracle they need.

  I’ve heard God’s voice. (In my head) and it was absolutely a distinctive voice. Didn’t sound like me. In fact one time I was going on and on and he interrupted me. lol<br>There was a lady that was making my life miserable at work. So one night in my prayers I said “Yah, in your word it says to pray for my enemies. Well… I have an enemy. But how am I supposed to keep your word and pray for her, when you know deep down I don’t mean it. You KNOW my flesh can’t stand her. How am I supposed to do that and be sincere? It’s not like I can’t fool you”.<br>And I was just going on and on as to WHY I couldn’t keep this particular word of His. And he interrupted my blabber and I heard “Well DeAnna shall we just kick her out of heaven?” And I was stunned. And said “oh no! I don’t want her to go to hell. I don’t want to go to hell. I just want her to leave me alone.” Then I heard: “ask for her heart to be turned toward me.”<br><br>And I thought YES! I can do that! I can do that and be sincere because you deserve for ALL hearts to be turned toward you. And so I asked for that. The VERY NEXT DAY, Yah is my Witness this is the truth, the very next day we both ended up beside each other in line for the Kiosk. And we got to talking about age, and before you know we were laughing and cutting up. After that she &nbsp;never bothered me again. She was always nice to me. <br><br>Another time I was crying to Him because I was afraid. And I heard (in my head) very distinctive, “Trust me”.<br>And immediately I was comforted. Just saying. I think his voice is distinctive. <br>Now I think we can think something and it be a “nudge” from the Holy Spirit. &nbsp;And we have to just step out and obey. <br>I’ve felt nudged to pray for someone before, but let the fear of awkwardness keep me from doing it. Later that would haunt me. And I’d think… why didn’t I just do it? And felt bad that I didn’t. I think that was a prompting that I sadly ignored. I don’t plan on doing that again. That’s been my experience anyway. 🙏❤️🙏
