  Helping simplify this because I think this video overcomplicates character roles and defines what is already known as *character archetypes*: Dive / Poke / Brawler and **sub archetypes**: Controller /Disruptor / Zoner /Enabler / Scout /Area Denial<br><br>Corrections based off what is already known in the community are listed below<br><br><b>Archetype miscontrusions</b><br>Range duelist -- &nbsp;This is usually considered <b>Poke</b> and not only does it compose of duelist but vanguard and strategist as well. Adam and Magneto are also considered Poke. <br>Pressure duelist &nbsp;--- not really sure where were going here the role of duelist/dps is to create pressure no matter what duelist you are. All DPS are supposed to apply pressure.<br>Dive duelist -- Similar to your range duelist take this is often considered *Dive*. This doesn&apos;t only apply to duelist but vanguards and strategists as well. Loki and Hulk are considered Dive.<br><br><b>Sub-archetypes miscontrusions</b><br>Controller --- is just a sub archetype it is not a main archetype/role these characters control space, enemy movement or tempo <br>Block -- is another sub archetype known as a zoner which forces enemies away from areas with pressure or traps<br>Initiator -- I am not sure where you were going with this one here either it sounds like the sub archetype disruptor which just harasses enemy backline and breaks formations<br>Healers -- This is really just support which fall within the main character archetypes but still has the crucial role of healing. Yes this is considered a role but it blends within our main character archetypes.<br>Support duelist -- this one is really misleading as well as all support should also focus on applying damage, while others may do it better than most it does not mean this should be consider a role or archetype. &nbsp;<br><br>videos explaining archetypes do need to be made, however i want to highlight there are only 3 character archetypes with room to argue anchor and support can also be consider archetypes. &nbsp; &nbsp;<br><br>⭐*Dive*<br><b>Role:</b> engage fast and eliminate high-value targets <br><b>Traits:</b> High mobility, Burst damage, Good initiation &nbsp; <br><b>Examples:</b> Hulk, Black Panther, Loki<br><br>⭐*Poke* <br><b>Role:</b> Deal sustained damage from a distance. <br><b>Traits:</b> Ranged pressure, precision, zoning. <br><b>Examples:</b> Magneto, Hela, Adam Warlock<br><br>⭐*Brawler*<br><b>Role:</b> Fight at mid-to-close range and hold space. <br><b>Traits:</b> &nbsp;Durable, consistent damage, thrives in scrappy fights. <br><b>Examples:</b> Emma Frost, Winter Soldier, Jeff the Land Shark<br><br><br>⭐Dive typically has an advantage over Poke characters <br>⭐Poke typically has an advantage over Brawler characters <br>⭐Brawler typically has an advantage over Dive characters &nbsp;<br><br>Coach Mills video - You are on the WRONG MAIN - Find your PERFECT MAIN Instead! | Marvel Rivals Composition Guide (NEW) does better explaining this

  As a Cap main I&apos;m wounded by this unwarranted slander... but I will continue my fight for freedom. It&apos;s a thankless job, but one that needs doing nonetheless.

  Not putting Adam Warlock in support duelist is crime he is the definition of this role💔

  I know it&apos;s a bit farfetched but Cap is a hybrid, he can also act as a diver with two abilties that can be his get in and get out.<br>(Edit 2 area, when diving as Cap you would want to think if your team will be fine if you dive in, will they be able to follow you, will they be able to survive without you holding off damage. Sometimes it is better to just hold shield up and run towards the frontlines to create space. Or when there is too much pressure you might want to shield your supports with your 400 health shield. Similar to when protecting your supports from a strange ult. Oh and with ult would you want to push with that ult or hold a good position during your team reset/try to 1v2 (do not try fighting if it’s 1v3, you would want to live for your team to be able to reset and heal you) or hold OT)<br>Edit: by far fetched I meant he is a hybrid brawler/diver.<br>Edit2: far fetched was put here because at the time most players weren’t using Cap and I couldn’t be 100% sure my playstyle was correct. Don’t say people are playing him tho. That’s because with the small buff he received in S1.5 and the other tanks receiving nerfs, he is currently a very good tank to play and is no longer a pick that most people don’t know how to utilize correctly.

  I think mantis is definitely a hybrid healer and support-duelist,<br><br>- she can buff her own damage<br>- her kit is built around headshots<br>- she applies heal over time effect so<br> &nbsp;she doesn&apos;t have to constantly <br> &nbsp;maintain the team.<br><br>maybe I&apos;m just playing her wrong but I find that her damage and her healing stat should be relatively equal (slight lean to healing)<br><br>Great video btw!

  I think Jeff is a lot more of a support hero than healer. His healing capability is probably one of the lowest among supports and his speed boost is arguably the more useful part of his kit. His ult is also less supportive and often used aggressively for himself rather than defensively for his team. High rank Jeffs are also all flanking DPS Jeffs since his damage and mobility are both really high, able to pick off the supports in the back.
