  I go to Corpus Christi Tx every year. I always drive all the way up the coast afterwards just to stop at all of these towns   I just love the vibe!   Thanks for this video

  I’m very familiar with this entire area, have lived @ Brownsville, Corpus, Houston, Galveston, etc. & kept offshore boats in marinas at SPI, Flour Bluff, & Galveston Island.   While there were no gross errors; the partial info is misleading.  The farther one goes down the coast, the much nicer the beaches & water.  All of our Gulf Coast is a hurricane zone.  Rockport, Port Isabel, Port LaVaca, & Palacios are “livable”. The past enmity re Viets was mostly from immigrants misunderstanding Texas laws, customs, & rules.  This is long over, and the younger Viets are very American today.  I love the area & peoples.

  Houses in Port O'Connor are sky high thanks to all the millionaires who discovered the place and pretty much turned a sleepy fishing town into their own.

  Anahuac doesn't have the Gator Fest anymore thanks to the stealing of funds by the former executive director of the Anahuac Area Chambers of Commerce. Really surprised Anahuac and Crystal Beach made your list. 😂😂😂

  Balcony, Rockport is extremely  expensive.  Thats because we have outsiders that have money that drives the cost of living up that drives the locals out.

  Water the color of dirt, not 'sweet tea' - until you get 100+ miles offshore Galveston and/or closer to SPI.

  Absolutely not true. Most or all of your SS check will be for maintenance and repairs. Coastal homes require much more than inland
