  Olivia de Havilland was born in Tokyo, Japan and she died in Paris, France.....104 years later. A life well lived. RIP.

  For the 100th ceremony (2028) they should definitely do the same thing: Reunite on stage all past winners of the four acting categories who are still with us. It would be awesome.

  Ms Olivia was 104 Years old this year 2020 and  the last Gone with the Wind Survivor and one of the few actors of the Golden Age.    Sadly she Passed Away in her home at Paris.  RIP 🙏🏼 She was a true LEGEND.

  This is when the Oscars was worth watching. It was so lovely to see the old and new Hollywood together. Such style and grace is sorely missed from recent broadcasts. Sadly many of the actors and actresses are no longer with us. Still a great moment in Oscar history.

  I love how Olivia quietly allowed the audience to applaud her for so long. She knew her own worth. And I can only imagine how she must’ve felt, to hear that music and feel the love from all those people, knowing that she was the last survivor of the stars of ‘Gone with the Wind’.
