Am Zambian and you forgot to mention that in the southern town of Livingston, you can wake up to find elephants in your backyard. There is no wall fence or wire fence to block the animals in the game park from coming to the people. So always remember, “As long as you don’t bother the elephants when you see them in your backyard, they won’t bother you”

In Zambia, there’s a site called Ingombe Ilede, which in Tonga means “sleeping cow,” named after this remarkable baobab whose shape resembles a cow lying down. <br>But it’s more than just a landmark. This was an ancient trading centre where unidentified communities traded salt, copper, gold, ivory and textiles for beads and other luxuries. Remarkably, all of this took place before the Tonga people settled in the area. 🇿🇲
