To this day, Denmark, Norway and Sweden still have this brotherly bond, where we like to take a piss on each other, but when it comes down to business, no one messes with little or big bro! Danish viking here, who absolutely loves my scandinavian brothers and sisters 🙌

He is completely right. We love to bully each other, but in the end of the day we're brothers. We stick together and we stand up for each other. When Trump threathend Denmark to anex Greenland, Norway and Sweden were the first to come to our side. We didn't even have to ask for it, they just came. A big thank you, to my scandinavian bothers and sisters. Drink's on us, Skål.

Swede here!
The first "Emperor of all Russia" was a Rurikid, a probable swedish decendant.
Also, the "Golden Gate of Kiev" was probably built by Swedes....
And Swedes where the main manpower of the Varengian guard...... (with lots of major exceptions like Hakkon Hårdråde)

This is a very slanted description of the Viking Age. But it is fun!

The concept of countrys is a new concept we Scandinavians used to be the same people. Or rather we still are related.

All 3 countries were vikings, but in general went to different places. The swedes mainly east to the baltics and Russia. Norway mainly north, Scotland, Iceland, Greenland, and even America. The danes mainly went to england and the northern France, in Normandie

The swedish vikings established Kiev and the start of Russia. The word "russ" is swedish viking word and means "row" becauce they came rowing down the rivers.

And most people today forget that Viking was something you did, not something you were.. We were farmers, fishermen, blacksmiths and so on. Going on Viking to either trade something or plunder something, tho the trading greatly surpassed the plundering.

The way he describes the countries during the Viking Age is a bit like how we still are today.
The Nordic Council was started in Denmark in 1953 so that we had a common meeting place.
Denmark first became a member of the EU in 1973 and made agreements with the rest of Europe, Sweden became a member of the EU in 1995 because they also wanted to participate in Europe.
Norway has said fuck this twice and is still not a member of the EU like the problem child we are.
The difference is now that the problem child has become super rich, we don't listen when the other two want us to join but, we were one of the countries that started NATO.
When it comes to making war agreements, we are there.
Just like Canada now visited Norway to make a military cooperation agreement with us. We signed those agreements.
We said yes to England's request to join JEF which is a rapid response team for northern Europe. We have agreed to Nordic military cooperation, which meant that Scandinavia shared a military strategy long before Sweden became a member of NATO.
When it comes to war, we always make agreements, but we are difficult otherwise.
We don't like others to decide for us.😂
