  I think my favorite part about giant lore is the fact that when they&apos;re gods sent a savior to rebuild the giant empire they didn&apos;t believe him and killed him so in retaliation giant dad decreed that the next time he sends a savior it will be giant kin not a real giant so hypothetically giant second coming Jesus could be an ogre.

  Sounds like my friend’s character Moak. INT of 5 and STR of 20.<br><br>Ogres are more dumb than skeletons. You could remove their brain, reanimate them, and they would be smarter in undeath than they were in life.<br><br>At one point, Moak reached apotheosis as it were… his intelligence hit 10… he was suddenly &nbsp;able to formulate coherent sentences, understood the concept of quality versus quantity, and mastered the concept of object permanence!<br><br>Good ol’ Moak!

  I once outwitted an ogre by telling him that his orc companions stole and ate his birthday cake. <br>And then I gust sat back and watched the carnage as the ogre turned on the orcs. He never had a birthday cake to begin with, but that&apos;s besides the point.

  I love the Ogres in Warhammer. They actually like halflings because halflings are amazing cooks so a lot of ogre chiefs will hire them out

  Had an idea for an ogre NPC in my game. Didn&apos;t have a chance to implement him yet.<br>Maybe you can use him in your game. <br><br>If travelling through forest area, they could encounter schdeef treepansha (Steve Treepuncher), an ogre, that is fascinated by the small folk, trying to imitate them.<br>They could meet him &quot;cutting&quot; down trees, meaning punching them until they fall, trying to build a hut out of the &quot;logs&quot;. He&apos;s friendly and harmless, unless you attack him. <br>However, he is quite smart for an ogre. He tries to do things like the &apos;smalluns&apos; do, imitating them similarly to how a toddler imitates its parents, with the difference that he can only observe people from afar due to them being afraid of him. So he does his best.<br>If the PCs encounter him more than once, they can see him slowly working his way into making Tools from wood and bone, then stone, and maybe even metal at some point.<br>His creations are always rough and clumsy, but they get the point across, like maybe the very stylish &quot;Shirt&quot; he made, that is more of a Poncho made out of very roughly woven straw, grass or reeds.<br><br><br>He is inspired by Steve from Minecraft, after I saw a post of how he would look like translated outside of the blocky World of Minecraft.

  Interesting note: Actually following or upholding the Ordning isn’t considered Maat or Maug. Giants do not need to follow the rules that govern them, they just need to not actively go against them.

  The reveal that in older lore being Giant-Kin in some way inherently makes you the tiniest amount Maud leads to an interesting plot idea:<br><br>Giant Civil War: those who topically cling to the idea of only a &apos;perfect family&apos; vs those who believe all Giant Kin should be as one- as Anam intended... aka Giant Encanto.
