  These stories annoy me because why would you allow your child to be emotionally abused. I would never take my kid to be exposed to those cruel idiots ever again.

  Why would the girls mom need to support the nephews? If mom and dad cant afford it then boys need to stay home. Duh.

  My in-laws tried to be unfair towards my two children one time. I sent the gifts back and explained that if they were not going to be fair and treat each child equally they would see neither child. They were very careful after that to be fair when they realized just how serious I was.

  This was really sweet, and I love how her mother supported her journey. The grandparents were asses, but I think that they’ll realize what they missed out on, one day. If they don’t, that’s their loss. Ryan is a douche bag, but little Sofie handled herself with pride, and care. Her mother raised a sweetheart, and I hope she goes on to be a great person in life.

  When the SIL called I would have said "Well, your boys have gotten all the favoritism for their entire lives anyway, so, how about you just get over it?"

  The mother's parents, her brother and the brother's wife seemed to think that because her husband and children were obviously the golden child. As the golden children they deserved to receive everything even personal money. And as the Scapegoat the mother and daughter should have given in to what ever the golden children wanted.
