This is more exciting to watch than Love Island.

Especially considering it starts in the nondescript outskirts of Glasgow this road is amazing. I've done it many times and always love it. If you ever get the chance though, take the train from Glasgow Queen Street to Fort William and on to Mallaig. It has to be one of the great scenic rail journeys of the world, and it's just in an ordinary little ScotRail diesel train!

We had 10 days in Scotland in June on a walking holiday this year ...I drove up from Yorkshire to start from Stirling up the A84 to Fort William & then up to Fort Augustus & all I can say is that Scotland for scenery is the jewel the UK's crown ..mind blowingly beautiful which camera's can't do it justice you have to see with your own eyes. We drove back this route to pick up the M8...one of the best road trips we have ever done.
