Today, Somewhere on Earth is off to discover the Sultanate of Oman in the south of the Arabian Peninsula. This is the Orient of The Thousand and One Nights, which the Romans called Arabia Felix, Blessed Arabia. It’s also the land of the once nomadic Bedouins. Bedu in Arabic means desert dweller.<br><br>Mossin devotes most of his time to the protection of the frankincense tree. <br><br>Saïd lives his life according to the seasons of his date palms. <br><br>Ahmed is an arif, a water master, and a guardian of knowledge <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcxDGSr9jRY&t=153">2:33</a>

It is so heartwarming to know there are still humans on earth who understand the fundamental principles of the meaning of our lives - water - food - prepare for the next generation.

Being in the desert centers one self, there’s a reason why nomads are care free compared to city dwellers, it’s because there connected to nature being in nature one can become peaceful

Those who have gone before us....I like the respect for nature, for the ancestors, for their way of life. How so different and refreshing compared to the attitudes here!!! The west should be taking notes from these beautiful people.

In many ways, I’m jealous of those desert nomads. I know their life is difficult beyond my soft modern life could understand. But to have such clear purpose in life. I don’t think too many of them have anxiety or depression.
