  Wow, as a beginner with watercolor THIS is what my heart just calls out to. It&apos;s not the perfection of detail, which I could do, but this lose just magical painting is where I want to go. I work with stained glass mainly and have sat that aside for a little bit to learn another medium to push myself more, shocking it may be but it is a stress reliever for me to experiment with other mediums. I used to enjoy doing the &quot;pour paintings&quot; and then when they would dry I would go back and pick out the different things I would see in the way the paint settled on my canvas and it would come out to some of the most wonderful, different scenes or figures. I really enjoyed that. But what you show here is what I have been trying to achieve with watercolor and just couldn&apos;t really get down how to start. So thank you for the many helpful tips. Thank you for not gatekeeping art, and for sharing what you know. All of us out here who are self taught appreciate you more than you could ever know!

  The tree you did with the straw has the most realistic look to the trunk, the colors worked perfectly. The entire video has been very helpful, looking forward to trying all the techniques, it&apos;s so exciting.

  Madam, &nbsp;I do NOT give compliments freely; however, &nbsp;with that said: &nbsp;you&apos;ve mailed it. &nbsp;This is exactly how one should show, review and &quot;swatch&quot; paints. &nbsp;This is a proper paint review. &nbsp;Swatching tells nothing of how the paints react, preform, etc. Only by using and doing can one know how paints will react. &nbsp;If I could subscribe twice I would. &nbsp;Bravo!
