  Joel,  you should be able to carry out all of these jobs yourself in the future. Using good quality parts was a good call and was money well spent.

  I have a 1.9 narrow body Individual Z3 in Fiji Green... currently restoring it and it now has zero rust anywhere. All new and refurbished suspension front and back. Sill welded and treated, All body panels removed and repainted. I've probably spent way more restoring it than the car is worth...... but I don't care !

  I bought my 2000 Z3M in 2004 for 15K. I only finally sold it 2 years ago - for 25k. Lovely car, and i enjoyed having it. It has now went to a collector where it will undoubedly sit all polished in a shed for ever - which is a pity

  The first video I ever watched of yours was the yellow Z3M Coupe several years ago. I loved that review but prices have really moved on for a nice one. You’ve got me thinking about a roadster now; it looks a lot of fun for not a lot of money.

  I had one and spent a lot of time refreshing the suspension and bushes and I thought it handled quite well at the end of the job.  I think the "wallowy" handling is often down to people jumping into an old one which has had nothing done to it.  The engines and drive trains in these are bullet proof and as you say, the styling of these little soft tops seems to have improved with age.  I still miss the car. 😪
