  So much wrong. All 5 cars were Alpine White, from the factory. Primer doesn't shine like the car in the movie. 4 cars had 440s, and 1 had a 383. The plan was always the bulldozers. The V shape of the blades, is a Vanishing Point. The car hitting the bulldozers,  is a Camaro, filled with explosives, not the last Challenger. One Challenger survived. The value today, wouldn't be $1 million, 1970 Challenger R/Ts, with 440s, are worth about $150,000. That's just the start.

  Rewatch the film. They didn't destroy the last one, they used it to tow the '67 Camaro into the dozers.

  At around nine miles per gallon, Kowalski's Challenger probably had wingtips to be able to succeed that fifteen-hour deadline thru that harsh desert. Think about that.

  Back in this Movie's Time Frame ,  I worked for a Wholesale Used Car Dealer in Northern California as a Delivery / Courier Driver delivering Cars that were Bought and Sold to Numerous Dealers throughout  the West  . At the time , the owner bought a 70 440 Six pack Convertible , 4 Speed Car ,  Red , Red Interior , White Top from a Tahoe Dealer .Although I was No Kowalski , the movie Really Resonated with my Job back then ! That Convertible Hauled some Ass ,  and then Some !

  This idiot is so wrong, I wonder if anything this idiot is saying is true, I doubt it. The final scene wasn't done with a Challenger, it was a 1967 Camaro rolling shell. Just stupid.

  I remember when they filmed in the near by canyon . We couldn't wait for the movie to hit the local theater .
