I am one of those people whom Nouman Ali Khan's lectures brought closer to Islam. When I had heard of these 'claims' against NAK, I did what the vast majority of 'new Muslims' do; put my fingers in my ears and reply with a "we don't need a divided ummah". That typical 'new Muslim' phrase.
Being exposed to Islam a little more now, I've learned and discovered of the many sects of Islam that I previously didn't know about, like those Modernists or Quranis or Deobandi (sufis),etc. Years later, I decide to give this video a watch and man am I glad I have. Learned much in 2 hours, what I had learned on my own for approximately 3 years lol. Jazak'ALLAH khayran to all those involved in the video making & uploading.

I signed up for Bayyinetv prior to Ramadan. Being an American revert who does not know Arabic yet, I am bound to the English translation to the Quran. I found his "Cover to Cover" series to be very beneficial to my understanding and emotional connection of the Quran alhumdulillah. I genuinely enjoy his videos and explanations and will continue watching videos for iyah by iyah explanation and Arabic lessons. Now on the other hand when I converted I gained so much knowledge from Abu Mussab mashAllah, and many others which I think have made me, as Abu Mussab said a "rational one" I take the knowledge which is given, but I also understand aqeeda. Maybe this has allowed me to dismiss his short comings. I actually took notes about this discussion and alhumdulillah I was already knowledgeable of the corrections. As Abu Mussab said its a matter of throwing away the garbage. None the less I think Nouman Ali Khan is doing good in the deen for many Muslims, especially converts who do not speak Arabic, but I do believe it is important to not base your entire knowledge of Islam around him or any one human. May Allah make it easy for me to learn Arabic so I do not have to rely on a translator.

Jazak Allah Khairain. In the beginning I feared listening to this because I was afraid you would 'ruin NAK' but after watching it, I realized 'ruining Islam' is more important. I still respect NAk, but these points are really important and hope that NAK follows them

This has cleared alot of things for me, I was confused before because one group of muslims would say aqeedah doesnt matter and everyones right. THE PROBLEM WITH THAT IS WHATS THE TRUTH THEN. Alhamdulilah preachers like you still exist. It bothers me that the most popular muslim speakers are trying to modernize islam.
