  The Simpsons creators have spoken about the “predictions” before. They said all they do is just make jokes based on historical trends and what could be likely. For instance, Trump being President wasn’t really that wild of prediction because Trump has talked about being President since the 80s and has the money and status to make that happen. So they just make educated guesses and said most of their predictions are false, but the public just focuses on the few that came true.
