  The motor mode on clutch is exactly what it says: instead of you putting stress units into the rotor, the rotor moves stress units into your mechanical network. Stress capacity generated this way is equivalent to stress it would take in as generator mode, with the same su/RPM. And that allows you to make pretty decent flywheels, as the rotors only slow down a little when the load is low, and a lot if it is high. And yes, you can just have a rotor that has 2 clutches and is a 1-way rotation diode and battery at the same time.

  Finally an hour long in-depth tutorial on this mod, I discovered it when it was relatively new and there were absolutely no tutorials at the time so as someone who knows nothing about electricity.. There were a lot of explosions
