  Gohan… this is exactly what he refuses to face. He keeps shrinking back, letting everyone else take the hits while he hides behind the idea of being a pacifist. But that’s not growth — that’s fear dressed up as philosophy. He doesn’t need to be Goku, Vegeta, or Piccolo, but he does need to stop acting like someone will always be there to bail him out. The Cell mistake wasn’t about power; it was about hesitation. And if he keeps clinging to that same mindset, he’s going to repeat it. At some point he has to stop waiting for a miracle and step into the role the world keeps saving for him. Either he stands up when it matters, or he stays the kid who never learned from the past.
