Instead of getting the train to Hoofddorp it’s easier to get the 300 bus - it’s from the airport entrance where you were standing at the beginning of the video - it stops at Hoofddorp railway station as well but there is a bus every 8 minutes & will take about 6-8 minutes journey time.

Yes man brings back happy memories…. My last visit was for my anniversary and we indulged in the famous red velvet cake from boerejongens …. As far as edibles go this little beauty did the trick (though I was pretty spaced out afterwards) … the dam is just a cool city to visit just stay clear of the tourist traps… up the gooners !!
