  I’m a former neuroscientist. I left academia disappointed and fed up over a decade ago. I WISH I’d had Alex to talk to back then (and now!)! I’ve never heard anyone say so much that I’ve said myself almost word for word. Just ask my husband who I rant to about these exact things late at night😄Absolutely loved this deep dive with him and so appreciate how comfortable the interviewer helped him feel so that he could be so beautifully authentic. Thank you so much!

  I really appreciate that more and more scientists are now openly exploring consciousness and even considering the possibility that Consciousness itself may be the foundation of reality.<br>Many are searching for the brain’s role in how the world is perceived and how this process works. <br>My comment comes from this context, yet from a very different kind of observation.<br>From my own experience, it seems that the brain is not the origin of perception but something the mind has conceptualized in the act of searching for it. The mind builds its sciences and theories through this search, and this process can expand endlessly in every direction. The more we search, the more structures we create.<br>What I have found is that reality cannot be reached through conceptual understanding, but only through direct experience – the experience of the Self as the Self, through the Self within the Self.<br>In this sense, it feels that we are always seeing through the mind rather than through the eyes. <br>The eye and the brain appear as forms through which Consciousness experiences itself as the world, not as their ultimate source.

  It&apos;s fascinating listening to this guy. Society has idolized scientists who speak with &nbsp;clarity, authority and in very methodological ways , but these are not the signs of creativity. Alex seem to be someone with a lot of ideas and very creative and open in ways of thinking about these ideas. It&apos;s like watching neurones firing and unconnected sparks connecting in real life in all sorts of direction, like fireworks. Love it.

  Hearing Alex is so refreshing. There should be more scientist with his archetype, meaning, open to ideas, rigorous, humble, excited and well rounded in different topics

  I&apos;m so impressed that Alex tells us to trust our own openion. We do know &amp; don&apos;t need some PhD or title to authenticate reality for us. I was so happy to hear Alex say his first definition of consciousness is experience. This is what my conclusion has come to for me. Consciousness is the ability to have experience a rocks consciousness may experience the feeling of weight/heaviness. Or the grounding experience humans feel when they ground themselves in meditation. &nbsp;Putting your awareness into the body to experience solid stability. Awesome interview

  I am so happy that scientists are actually starting to talk about immaterial reality. Finally we are having a shift towards spiritual, immaterial awakening. We need to go back to the Source. It holds answers to all our questions.
