  SEA has got over Japanese war history but not to the extend that Japanese to start rebuilding offensive military power. LKY has expressed this before.

  Dear PM Wong<br>Thanks for Sg Gov care for the the Pioneer Generation. However more could done to the Homeless group due to rigid rules of HDB Rental Policy! As a Singaporean But due to circumstances, like OLD AGE, &nbsp;INCOME FACTORS, ETC HDB is not willing to consider granting me a flat in Singapore?

  What’s not being talked about enough is the fact that China has been increasing its activity around Japan’s maritime borders. Chinese coast guard ships continue to enter the waters around the Senkaku Islands—355 days in a year, which is &quot;everyday&quot;—and Japan has filed multiple diplomatic protests over these incursions. China’s military has also expanded its training and operations in the region, often passing through the waters between Taiwan and the Okinawa islands.<br>There has also been discussion in Chinese state media about the “historical status” of the Ryukyu Islands, which has raised concerns in Japan, even though China hasn’t made an official claim on Okinawa. Still, given the proximity of Taiwan and Okinawa and China’s growing military pressure on Taiwan, it’s understandable that people worry about how tensions could spread, From Taiwan to Okinawa is onlyl 110km away. Additionally, a recent social media post from a representative of a Chinese organization in Osaka contained a death threat directed at Japan’s Prime Minister, using extremely offensive language. Such behavior is unacceptable, and many believe that individuals who make threats of this nature should face deportation and be barred from re-entering Japan.

  In the eyes of Westerners, Singaporeans are not of their own race, and therefore their intentions must be different. As Prime Minister, one must speak in accordance with the national interest. Especially during sensitive times, one should avoid provoking either side.

  Remember Singapore also suffered ...a lot under imperial Japan in WW2. We don&apos;t want war in SE Asia and Japanese PM should just take back what she said...instead of doubling down. I think many Japanese r oso not happy she said ...what she said.

  When Japan PM attended the ASEAN summit recently, she pay homage to the Japanese that died in WW2 and did not go to the Malaysian National Monument to pay respect to those who died in the war of aggression in South East Asia. So you can deduce this action and behavior of the right wing LDP which runs the current Japanese administration. I just felt the US did not go deep enough to remove all the remnants of right wings and the Japanese emperor when the US went in to restore Japan as normal country. Unfortunately, this is the sad tragedy....that will come to harm the world
