  I love how nonchalant the judge was about not letting these 2 out of jail and how he put the lawyers in their place telling them that they should look at the criminal record of their client before showing up for court.

  By the way, former addict, 11 years in recovery here, and I am here to tell you that drugs are 1000% how 2 people like this end up together. Either they used together, met while she was using, he provided them for her, something. It may not be why they stayed together, but it is absolutely how it started.

  I saw the clip of that mom walking into the courtroom and said “That girls on meth”<br>I was a foster parent for 12 years. I can spot a meth addict from a mile away. <br>Unfortunately, she probably “escaped” while they were passed out. But innocent until proven guilty.

  Im an addict in recovery from meth and heroin. As soon as i saw the mother, she was 100% high. Why on earth would they get their children back when they were exposed to drugs? I&apos;ve seen people lose their kids for far far less. I am so sorry for what happened to that beautiful girl, she deserved to be safe with her parents.

  As a single mom of a severely autistic, nonverbal son - who is now a teenager - he was prone to eloping and loved water when he was small - i had to put SO MANY safety plans in place- it is a layered process - a safety GPS bracelet with contact info on the band, printed stop signs at exits, extra door locks at the tops of doors that only i could reach, and complete vigilance whenever we were outside - in parks and public spaces i had to run after him and he would just propel forward and never stop - i could never have taken my eye off of him for any space of time - it was a 24 hour job - even every night, i had to be sleeping next to him and he would sleep between his brother and i so that i could always know he was safe beside me. i wouldn&apos;t have dreamed of leaving him in a car unattended for ANY reason - and i had another young child in tow, and no other adults with me, and I still made sure he was never without watchful eyes on him. I don&apos;t understand how drugs couldn&apos;t have been involved in this situation because leaving a child like that &nbsp;it is just not something you can afford to do.

  This is the 5th child disappearance I’ve seen in a month and the child was autistic and non verbal. It’s infuriating.
