  Just to clarify, Jerma got his start on Youtube posting Tf2 content, and got really big, so much so that Nathan Vetterlein, the voice actor for scout came onto his stream multiple times and they had really hit it off, and years later, The Naked and The Dead, which is an official Tf2 Comic, was going to include a scene which revealed the real name of Scout (and Medic), and during the making they allowed Nathan himself to name the character, and he named him &quot;Jeremy&quot; After Jeremy Albertson, aka Jerma

  Fun fact: according to tf2 lore, when demo gets bleeped out in meet the demo it’s not because he said anything really offensive, but because in a drunken stupor he accidentally revealed the location of the Loch Ness monster.

  Someone in your chat said Heavy was the most educated merc. He isn&apos;t. Like, he&apos;s up there, with his PhD in Russian Literature, but Medic did have a medical license at one point, meaning he also has a PhD, and Engie has 11 PhDs.<br><br>Additional fun facts: Demoman&apos;s eye socket is haunted, and every time the Medic tries to heal his eye it comes to life on Halloween as some weird monster. Spy is canonically Scout&apos;s dad. Soldier is so insane because he drank lead water. And Sniper was actually born in New Zealand but sent to Australia in a very Superman like fashion after New Zealand sank into the ocean

  So, the Scout <i>did</i> get named after Jerma, but it wasn&apos;t something right outta the bat. See, Jerma was a TF2 player too, and he played a lot of Scout. Not only that, but Scout&apos;s voice actor was a fan of Jerma. So, one day, Scout&apos;s VA was given the chance to give the Scout an official, canon name, and he chose &quot;Jeremy&quot;, which is, you guessed it, Jerma&apos;s real name too.

  Fun fact about the medic: its been established in the lore that he cannot heal demomans missing eye. The reason for this is that the demomans eye socket is haunted
