So youthful, so vibrant... hope in his eyes.  Even his speech is more bouncy, his face more animated.  The hair... the cheekbones... the unfurrowed brows... this is not the same man who demoralized a whole generation of web developers.

This is amazing. To see someone outlining their goal, their motivations for that goal and their plan for getting there. And then 11 years later we can see that they have done it. &nbsp; That was truly audacious and now very well accomplished. How many of us can say that about our lives?

Gotta respect Jon. This man talked about a new language and went out and implemented it successfully

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TH9VCN6UkyQ&amp;t=3303">55:03</a> Thank you. It&apos;s annoying when people think aesthetics don&apos;t matter in code. Ugly code is less motivating, more confusing, and usually more typing.

Amazing, not only did he set out 8 years ago to create a new programming language for games, but he is also developing a game through the new language, and it looks top notch. Very few people I have met stick to their goals that determinantly.
