I hate hate hate that phrase “it’s family’s money quote or you owe us we raised you we fed you we closed you “. I just can’t stand parents to bring up garbage like that because if you’re a parent, you are saying you are willing to raise your child and pay for your child and know they don’t need to pay you back. For these parents to take her $6000 they weren’t gonna pay her back. They had no intention of paying her back. They need a good slap right in the mouth. Darn liars and then to dump their grandma down in to a nursing home. That was the ultimate crime that was pathetic and they lied to her too. Basically these are two criminal thinking adults and I hope that they end up in the same situation that they’re trying to put their grandmother in. What a story. If it wasn’t for the granddaughter. Maybe the grandmother would still be sitting there waiting

Grandma saying "don't call them, just drive" gave me chills. They dumped her in a nursing home just to get their hands on her money and pave a parking lot over forty years of grandpa's work. I love that she wasn't as gone as they thought — Elise quietly outsmarting them was the perfect ending.

Abandoning an elderly person is a crime in most jurisdictions. The nursing home manager should have/would have called the police.
