  AHHHH!!! OH My GOD! What&apos;s crazy is that once I have seen the difference, I notice that I can spot it @<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCiD1EXXIPI&amp;t=41">0:41</a> when you haven&apos;t even zoomed in yet!   A diamonds reflective index is what makes it difficult to see a line through it. An easy way to differentiate between a real V. fake, especially in cooler weather is the condensation test. Blow on the stone like you would your glasses to clean them, if condensation remains when you pull away to look, it&apos;s a fake.<br>Or if you happen to be a jeweler, you know.

  I wanted to say that you can determine the volume of a diamond by it&apos;s visual size vs carat rating.<br><br>A good way to tell all of this is by the price you pay: if you get a diamond that is impeccable and that has zero blemishes or inclusions to 2x magnification then you&apos;re either holding a super expensive diamond or a fake.

  iPhone&apos;s sapphire lens is not pure; therefore, it&apos;s hardness level is lower. There are many videos that explain the weakness of the iPhone&apos;s sapphire lens.

  None of these tests, other than the density test really help me to determine a stones validity. Unforunately, the verbal recording was not within my ease of hearing. &nbsp;I would look for inclusions or test it with a meter.

  Use ultraviolet light the diamond should glow ,use a XRF machine and density test now synthetic diamond is the same as the real thing but is produced by two processes one HTHP and CVD both use high energy the HTHP uses 500KW and CVD 1000KW .

  Use the &quot;fog&quot; method.<br>Breathe on the stone and you will see it &quot;fog up&quot;.<br>On a real diamond, the &quot;fog&quot; will evaporate within 1.5 seconds.<br>I have not tried this test on the synthetic (man made) diamonds, by BrilliantEarth, LightBox, or CleanOrigin.

  On mohs hardness scale diamond is rated at a 10. Sapphire is 7 or 8 can&apos;t remember sorry. The iPhone camera lenses contains very little amount of real Sapphire. the lense starts scratching at a 6 sometimes 5. Now glass is rated at a 3-4 depending on what type, which allows diamond and Sapphire to scratch it. And allows diamond to scratch Sapphire.<br><br><br><br>This should summarize this whole video
