These guys shaped my younger years. Still shaping and redefining my expectations. I love it.

This is as good as anything FSOL has ever done. Simply breathtaking. Thankyou for all the many hundreds of hours of pure joy and experiences i have had from your music over the decades.

To add to my last comment.. I would LOVE if these guys did a Dead Cities 2.. Yage 2019 wasn't really it to me (though it was good!). Dead Cities felt like a dystopian aftermath sound. Dead Cities 2 (or more properly named) could be a continuation of the hard and trance ambiance they set in the aforementioned album.

At any rate, bought this CD since it's not on Spotify.

Brian Dougans & Garry Cobain are maybe the most creative musicians on the planet earth!
They had already recorded in the last 35 years over 100 releases under the different names:
FSOL; Humanoid; Amorphous Androgynous; Mental Cube; Metropolis; Intelligent Communication and many more!

These are from the three "Ramblings of a Madman" books originally released a few years ago. I got #1 and #3 in 2019...#2 was already sold out.

I have been hooked on the wonderful sounds of FSOL since I first heard Expander, the first track on their Accelerator album 30 years ago. Music for 3 books is a well crafted piece, I enjoyed the A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble series and of coarse Lifeforms but for me the CASCADE single is the bomb.

FSOL have always (and I say this as a drummer) been fucking incredible at mixing soundscapes with syncopated rythms that always somehow break out of whatever genre you try to place them in - always raw, powerful and brilliant. The 3+ minute mark here is absolute ecstasy for me, pure finesse by masters of their art.
