  When I was younger I had a dream of becoming a DJ but my mom told me to get a “normal” career, but my friend pursued his DJing passion with help of supportive family, now he’s making more than me while also being actually happy on his job while I’m struggling in finding any job in the fields that I like. - moral of the story is pursue your dreams while you still can

  SpongeBob is really an admirable character. He works a “dead end “ job but it’s a job that he enjoys doing. He is happy with his life even if others think of him as an idiot, failure, or a less than. Although he does occasionally run into problems, he doesn’t let the problems persist and he has the maturity to move on. He is absolutely someone who lives in the present, which adds to his joy. We don’t really need extravagant things to have a good time. Take for example the episode where him and Patrick get the big box and use their imagination to create a fun experience. I don’t have the money to take an exotic trip but I absolutely have the time and physical ability to go and hang out at the lake and enjoy the weather, animals, and positive energy of fun around. Take advantage of what you currently have. Adults often feel more connected to Squidward  but Squidward is someone who is haunted and chained  to the shoulda, woulda, and couldas. He is never able to enjoy today because he is so distraught about yesterday and deeply concerned how others perceive him to be. I’m 34 and SpongeBob SquarePants is still a show I enjoy watching and there are plenty of episodes( especially early seasons) that make me literally LOL
