Could you imagine putting that computer together, especially all the circuit boards and all the components. Purely amazing for the 80 and 90s

What a genuine rush we scrappers get when we open something up and find it full of treasure like that. What a awesome find. May God bless and protect you my friend.

Nice to see that the first generations of electronics were made with proper metals, things lasted a lot longer than now. &nbsp;Great treasures you found James.

It&apos;s always fun and interesting to scrap these old PC&apos;s - assuming they&apos;re in bad enough condition to not have resale value - and see how they were put together. There was so much variability in how manufacturers were making these old systems back in the day. When I scrap these I usually get comments about why I didn&apos;t resell them to collectors. But that can be a very frustrating experience. I do try IF the computer is in good condition. But something like this, I&apos;d have scrapped as well. A fun scrap for sure.

What a cool scrap James .. In the late 80&apos;s this computer would have cost alot, 1992 I bought my first 386/40 and was a big purchase. That tape drive was used for backups .. my first computer a commadore vic 20 had a tape back-up that used just regular audio tapes and later with my second intel machine got a DAT digital analog tapes that were like mini-cassettes but thick.<br>Dating myself again .. but been a fun ride playing with PC&apos;s and how they&apos;ve evolved .. and nowadays have a friend in another country that I watch scrap every weekend .. pretty cool😃

When these first came out, we called them the luggables, because you could lug them around. Basically the first iteration of what would become the laptop. (Those levers on the front bezel were to lift up the front of the machine for easier viewing.)

Great video. I’ve been watching a lot of your videos and I’ve learned a lot from them. I love the scrap game but the wife doesn’t appreciate the mess.
