  My dad is a lifelong Dolphins fan. He was born in 72’, and has seen all the ups and downs. I showed him this video when it first came up. I think it meant more than I could ever know. Thanks Emp for this heartwarming tale.

  I&apos;m a lifelong Dolphins fan because of my grandfather. He gave me a book that he bought at the Orange Bowl gift shop in 1971, simply entitled &quot;The Miami Dolphins&quot; by Morris T. McLemore. This book written before 1972 somehow had a prophetic understanding of something extremely special coming to the NFL and for the Dolphins. The book ends with the Dolphins losing the 1971 Super Bowl. The final line is: &quot;These gentle giants of the pits, they hear bells other men never know.&quot;
