  I&apos;m slowly regressing back to outboard gear. It&apos;s just more productive than using a DAW even if it&apos;s essentially the same software.

  The R4 is awesome. &nbsp;I use it with my synth setup to record ideas, or stems to import into a DAW later for a finished track. &nbsp;If I&apos;m jamming along on my keyboards and something sounds interesting, I can press record to instantly capture it quickly and easily, then layer it with another couple of tracks, basslines, leads, pads, etc. and it&apos;s all saved as individual tracks on the SD card to bring into a DAW later to build out. &nbsp;Such a cool recording tool. &nbsp;They did a great job with it.

  Excellent tutorial, saved me a shit load of time. I bought mine for $60. US used with a couple hours on it still in the original box. Thank you I very much appreciate your channel, I&apos;ve learned a lot over the years.

  I have the R4 and it&apos;s ancient sibling, the PS02. Main downside: you cannot use the internal mic for live band rehearsals. That requires a different mic otherwise it&apos;s too hot and distorts all audio.<br><br>If anyone has mic recs for rehearsal space recordings, I&apos;m all ears.<br><br>Apart from that, it&apos;s intuitive to use and get demos done quickly
