  Good to hear that you agree with John about Sinner and his preparation. How anyone could think that the most hardworking athlete, who strives for perfection in every area of his game, who has been elite in recognising any weaknesses in his game, and not only improve on it, but turn it around as a strength (first serve, drop shot, touch at net) could even remotely suggest that he (or any of his professional team) had overlooked this part of his preparation. Especially as it&apos;s happened to him before. OF COURSE they would have been researching and preparing for this in every detail. And as for Agassis &apos;advice&apos; on carb loading and hydration before the match 🙄... a basic that even non-athletes are aware of... it was as ignorant as it was insulting to Sinner and his team.<br><br>As for him being able to work past his cramps like other players have done... surely John realises that cramps wasn&apos;t the main issue? He might have suffered from a few early on in the game, but not at the end. Sinner said he didn&apos;t feel well on the day, he might have been suffering from all the matches he&apos;s played previously (winning 4 Masters in a row in case anyone&apos;s forgotten), and it&apos;s been proved in research that red heads genetically can&apos;t deal with heat as well as anyone else. It&apos;s probably been a result of ALL these factors interacting &nbsp;with each other. But Agassis 90s knowledge of carb loading is beyond &nbsp;patronising when he&apos;s directing it at one of the most elite athletes in the world... In terms of talent, hard work, striving for perfection, improving on his weaknesses. His preparation is second to none And this is coming from an Alcaraz fan🙂

  Sinner&apos;s already been to hospitals in Turin (Juventus Medical Centre), and Milan for different kind of tests to find out what happened. He was ill before the match, the heat was a consequence of him being sick and exacerbated it. He even said it wasn&apos;t that hot.

  After winning 5 masters in A row this year. Why is anyone surprised. Sinner broke down. 100 years from now &nbsp;Nobody else will have done what Sinner did......

  It’s interesting how these conversations have come a long way. When Djokovic used to crash out of matches they mocked him, ridiculed him, judged him and made it look like a character flaw. With Sinner now it’s about trying to find a solution. Anyway it’s good for the game that it’s getting talked about in a more constructive way nowadays.
