My dad started the Trevi with his business partner Jimmy and another restaurant opposite called the Sienna which was more of an evening restaurant. My dad sold up in the 90's to retire and Jimmy and his son Robert carried on and eventually Rob sold it to the current owners, I can confirm either interior is pretty much the same and it's lovely to see it again it brings back fond memories

Such a shame it's so quiet. The menu looked great. The decor is amazing, and well-looked after. Considering it's over 60 years old, the seats and tables looked almost pristine on screen. I hope loads of people see your video and decide to visit. I don't think anyone will leave disappointed. Those profiteroles looked so yummy. Well done filming this. Trevi deserves better. Thanks Robbie ❤❤❤

I don;t know how you keep on finding these places Robbie mate but fingers crossed your post gives them a welcome influx of customers.

A restaurant can lose customers because a post office disappears. Back in 2016, Trevi’s chef told a local reporter that removing the nearby post office had cost them passing trade, years before Covid. That adds another layer to those empty lunchtime tables. The overlooked places I explore on my small history channel have made me curious about exactly this, how changing everyday routes can leave somewhere behind. Being beside a busy station doesn’t necessarily put you on anyone’s daily walk. Sometimes the restaurant stays the same while the neighbourhood stops passing its door!

YouTube and all the other platforms urgently need more reviewers/content providers as honest and as fair as Robbie, Gary, Hannah, Danny and Harrison. (Fewer, London-based reviews would be welcome).
Bloggers, so-called “influencers” and the other attention seekers and grifters are only in it for themselves.
Great video again, Robbie. Proper place, proper food, proper people.

Its obvious we live in a tough economy people don't have the disposable to treat themselves like they once did.

I totally agree that basic Italian food makes you feel like you could have done it at home. But great Italian food is a whole different experience. Great review Robbie, hope it drives some custom their way.

I love places that embrace nostalgia and keep original fittings.. Something very special about places like that, and I am glad you explore these places. I am glad they at least get delivery orders, but people are missing out on the real experience of dining in a great place like this. The staff seemed so lovely as well. Always a great vid from you Robbie.
