Escape velocity doesn't apply to rockets that are propelled. Escape velocity applies to non propelled objects, like something thrown into space. A propelled spacecraft could go just 10 mph and eventually it will escape earth's gavity. A "thrown" object needs to reach escape velocity.

It is SO cool that the observatory in India is solar powered. And that, by SunPower Maxeon modules! I sell solar in Victoria, Australia — and was fully expecting to see a nightmarish bric-à-brac of cheap Chinese kit. But whoever organised that did not do things by halves. That place is powered by genuinely the best panels on the planet at the minute.

39:40 Why is the red-shifted H-a shifted twice as much as the blue shifted H? There is a small peak at 7100Å which is the same amount of shift as the bluleshifted 6100 peak and that has to be redshifted Hydrogen, right?
Also, why is there a sharp dip at 7600Å?

It's not very important but the Franco Prussian War wasn't in the Eighteenth Century. In 1783 Britain had just lost a war against Holland, Spain, France and its own American colonies.

So basically the earth is slowly getting sucked into the black hole.

29 minutes I saw intertwining Birkland Currents with a Z-pinch at the brightest place.
Gravity has little if nothing to do with it.
Gravity can't make the energy they observe in a gravity based cosmos. So, makeup BlackHoles.

Hi I am an Amateur Astronomer from India. I would like to know where your observatory is located in India, which school? I would like to visit. Thanks 😊
