  Fun fact! The the elder scrolls are made of fragments of reality or something and not paper and therefore it doesn&apos;t violate the rules of the challenge to eat them :)

  The green pact is still my favorite alternative take on elves in fantasy. It is so &apos;unelf like&apos; when you hear wood elves, but so incredibly logical.

  Technically I’d say the elder scrolls are fine, because they’re metaphysical shards of creation. Also they could be vellum.

  bro really interpreted the Green Pact like a tax attorney just so he could legally use a bug bow, then climbed the 7,000 steps enough times to age irl becuase fast travel is apparently plant-based

Arvak. You don&apos;t pick up a tome, but you do pick up a horse skull. Seems fair enough.<br>2. Ahzidal&apos;s Ring of Arcana. Gives you Ignite and Freeze, two pretty decent destruction spells (also ignite is the highest DPS spell in the game so like)<br>3a. Collage Entrance Exam. Gives you a random spell (firebolt, flame atronach, fear, healing hands, or magelight) without ever having to interact with a tome, so Faralda likely teaches you the spell directly.<br>3b. Tolfdir gives you a free ward<br>4. Visage of Mzund. An entirely metal Dwarven helmet that gives you the Breath of Nchuak ability. Closer to a shout, but a spell is a spell<br>5. Spellbreaker. I don&apos;t need to say much more.<br>6. Bloodskal Blade. It looks like it has a leather wrap, so it should be fine. Kinda stretching what a spell is, but the game counts it as a spell so it is.<br>7. Any Dwarven or Falmer staves. Dwarven staves are all metal, and Falmer staves are made entirely of Charus chitin. I&apos;d be weary about the other staves, as they might be wooden.<br>8. Standing stones. Stone is not wood. Shouts are also fine<br><br>Oh, and there&apos;s no way of actually using bows (aside from falmer). All arrows/bolts either require firewood or use of a tome to acquire.

  Can&apos;t believe lars doesn&apos;t know you can revive the gildergleam without stabbing eldergleam by talking to a guy in the temple before heading to eldergleam sanctuary and letting him follow you there

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SthvpLU5YTM&amp;t=339">5:39</a> It&apos;s not entirely true the greenpact entirely disallows the use of werebeast transformations because the greenpact was believed to be the reason the wildhunt exists so in dire times of need they would be transformed into a werebeast.
