This track is amazing. I've always had this mystifying feeling since I was little that there was a certain individuality, and spacey loneliness that comes with living on Earth. I think it's easy for to fall into a lifestyle (be it easy or difficult) that allows us to forget the mystery that is our own finite existence. Despite everything, at the end of the day, you'll likely have thoughts and feelings that no one else will know or understand quite like you do. Maybe it was the friendship you had. Maybe it was the loss you suffered. Maybe it's the dreams you have. Maybe it's the business you work for. Maybe it's the drama you deal with. Maybe it's the drama you kindle. Maybe it's the people you love. Maybe it's the people you've hurt. Or maybe, it's something as simple as being in a certain place, at a certain time, watching the people, trees, and stars, and everything orbit this rotating blue ball we call home.

I wonder if we're not so different from the Pikmin we see in these games. We do our work alongside one another during the day, and go to sleep in the place we call home at night time. But I like to think that every one of us can relate to this white pikmin here in the background art. There are times when we're alone, enveloped by the vast loneliness of the forest called individual existence, where no one will know exactly what we think and feel, even if we somehow found the words and expression to describe them verbatim. Everyone else's individuality is what keeps you individual too, because they may never interpret you the way you think they would or should.

I think about this sometimes, and despite my fascination, it's kind of scary to dwell on. But I'm only in my early 20's... so I wonder if I'm wrong. And that maybe we're not as lonely as I think we are. :)

Considering this is the most randomized song in Pikmin 2, a short example can't come close to covering this song's variety, so a 10-hour long version like this is great for showing off the wonderful ambience of this theme.

I've been playing Pikmin 2 again recently and I love this song and the feeling of peace and calm it gives. It was probably rough getting to where you are now, and it doesn't get any easier from here. But that's okay. Take a moment to breathe. Take a moment to rest now and then. Things aren't going to be easier, and you don't know what's ahead, but everything will be alright. You'll make it. You can do it.

The little white pikmin waved at the large stone man. Little did they know, they were about to join the flowers in front of them.

I didn't even realize I was listening to this beautiful music for over an hour straight while doing homework!!! Truly the perfect ambient music. All those "relax/study music" videos have NOTHING on this one track.

i see some of the comments dont do this but i want, i think i need it.
so recently my dad has 2 tumors cancer basically, i dont like the feeling of hearing his screams of pain seeing him all day so down and man it really stress me im 17, still in school and i know i cant do anything and that makes me feel like bad i have a lot of weird feelings, no matter how many times i relax or try to think other stuff, my head keeps reminding me that one day im going to stand at my bedroom door just for saying goodnight at my mom and sister only, he will die and for much i enjoy the time we have left, soon or not ill never be able to see him again.
maybe too much negativity but thats the topic in my family currently, when he dies....honestly i dont like that idea but i hear of it all the time. thanks for the ones who read this, for your time, enjoy the ambience of this calm music...sorry
