Oil companies must be held responsible.  Political leaders keep getting rich at the cost of the hard working peoples' lives and livelihoods.  And the only way it will stop is to hold the companies responsible in other countries.  But are there any honest governments left in the world, not getting rich by major corporations?  I suspect not.

that must be so fucked to have your lands left in shambles by oil companies while your govt profits off your misery and does nothing to the benefit of the people they are responsible for protecting. thats vile, underhanded, and unjust. shame on them (oil companies and govt) for allowing such awful practices.

The fight is that the oil money is not brought to the benefit of the pepple and you can see that man risking his life to refine the crude, because the oil company and government is not letting him enjoy the benefits of oil from his land ...No water no light, no roads, no good health care and so on ..that's the sad reality.
